Custom Made Orthotics

Custom-made orthotics are devices that support and gently reposition the heel, arch, muscles, ligaments, tendons, and bones of the feet and lower extremities, enabling these structures to work together in a better alignment to make each step you take pain free.

Unlike shoe inserts bought over-the-counter, custom-made orthotics are built from moulds of your feet or computerized digital foot scanner to meet your unique needs. Custom made orthotics are not arch supports. Arch supports are older technology appliances which do not attempt to achieve normal function for your feet. Sometimes arch supports may relieve symptoms, but the root problems usually remain - silently stressing and distorting your skeletal structures and related tissues. Very often the same old pains will return. Custom-made orthotics, however, work to eliminate the specific causes of your symptoms, so that your feet may operate more naturally and efficiently.

Custome-made orthotics can relieve many different types of foot, knee and back pain including sciatica, heel and arch pain, pain caused by running, walking, and other athletic activities, pain related to diabetes, bunions, trauma, sprains, and many others.

Most extended health insurance cover custom-made orthotics.
